Cross Stitch

Cross-stitch is an embroidery method where small x-shaped (cross) stitches are used in a gridded pattern to form a picture. This stitching technique is often used on Aida cloth, a type of evenly woven fabric that is woven like mesh. Cross stitch is such a meticulous craft because it's patterns can sometimes be very large and intricate. The larger the pattern and the higher the stitch count, the more detail can be seen.

All patterns were created by me unless otherwise mentioned.
